The WebSocket API now supports binary MessagePack frames alongside JSON, reducing payload sizes by up to 60% and improving parsing performance.
Key changes:
format=msgpack query parameter on the WebSocket URLcandles channel for real-time OHLCV dataJSON remains the default format. Existing connections are unaffected.
Rate limit headers are now included in every API response:
X-RateLimit-Remaining — requests remaining in the current windowX-RateLimit-Reset — seconds until the limit resetsWhen you exceed your limit, the 429 Too Many Requests response includes a Retry-After header so your client knows exactly when to retry.
